I came across an interesting article I thought I would share. If you ask someone why they use Facebook, or Myspace the answers will range, but I would guess the most common answer would be something like "To keep in touch with people I don't get to see often."

This article makes me wonder if the highschool gossip side of our brains isn't what motivates us to get on and search for old classmates we never had any intentions of seeing again. I think all of us have had that moment where you saw a profile of someone you knew in highschool and you said "Damn! Little Liz put on a few pounds!"
